A personal reflection on grace, gratitude, and the meaningful connections made at the AREAA National Convention.

A PERSONAL REFLECTION

Grace, Faith &
Genuine Connections

2026 AREAA NATIONAL CONVENTION

AREAA National

“For its by grace you have been saved, through faith; and this is not from yourself, it is the gift of God.”

EPHESIANS 2:8 | NIV

As I reflect on this past weekend at the AREAA National Convention, this scripture I want to share with you.

We often attend conferences focused on growing our businesses, expanding our networks, and creating new opportunities. But sometimes, the most meaningful things we walk away with have nothing to do with business at all.

This weekend reminded me that some of life's greatest gifts are the genuine connections we make along the way.

I am especially grateful for the meaningful conversation and connection with you. These moments reminded me of the beauty of showing up authentically, sharing our experiences, and making space to truly connect with one another.

Ephesians 2:8 teaches us that God's grace is not something we earn through our accomplishments or achievements. Salvation is a gift, freely given and received through faith.

And while this verse speaks specifically to salvation, it also reminds me to approach life with gratitude rather than measuring everything by what I accomplish.

Not every connection needs to be transactional.

Not every opportunity needs to be measured by its business potential.

Sometimes, the greatest blessing is simply the person God places in your path.

Some of the most meaningful connections at AREAA 2026 happened beyond the conference sessions. Grateful for the genuine conversations, shared stories, and new friendships that reminded me relationships are about so much more than business.

I returned home with more than professional inspiration. I returned with a grateful heart, new perspectives, and a deeper appreciation for the relationships that make this journey so meaningful.

As we begin another week, I hope this scripture encourages you to recognize the grace in your own life and appreciate the people who make your journey special.

Here's to leading with grace, walking in faith, and never overlooking the gift of genuine human connection.

With gratitude,
